Even without a formal wedding party, there are a few very special people (and one very special pup) who we wanted to recognize.
Shannon has been by Lauren’s side since day one (literally). From making mud pies and playing outside as kids, to bonding over our shared love of animals, surviving awkward teenage phases together, and supporting each other through adulthood, she has been part of every chapter along the way.
As Lauren’s sister, built-in best friend, and the ultimate type-A counterpart to her type-B personality, Shannon has been such a steady source of support, guidance, organization, and encouragement throughout all of it. She has also been one of the biggest supporters of Justin and Lauren’s relationship from the very beginning and has played a huge role in helping bring this wedding to life. We truly couldn’t imagine this season of our lives without her.
Miles is Lauren’s nephew and one of the tiniest but most important members of our wedding day. By the time the wedding arrives, there’s a very good chance he’ll be walking (or at least speed-assisted toddling) down the aisle, which will probably up being one of the highlights of the entire day. We’re so excited to have our sweet nephew be part of such a special moment with us.
Charlotte is our goddaughter and flower girl, and she brings so much personality and fun everywhere she goes. Whether she’s watching Bluey, making silly faces, or fully embracing her “baby grinch” reputation, she always keeps life interesting. We’re so excited to have her be part of such a special day with us.
Justin’s parents have been together for nearly 48 years and built a life centered around hard work, family, and caring for others. As the fourth of five children, Justin was raised surrounded by siblings, family traditions, and countless memories that shaped who he is today.
Growing up, much of life revolved around the family farm, which had been passed down through generations. Justin’s dad Ron spent long hours caring for the farm, teaching him the value of hard work, responsibility, and the importance of helping others and building strong relationships. Those lessons continue to guide him today.
Justin’s mom Deb devoted much of her life to raising their family. Whether she was driving kids to practices, making holidays feel magical, decorating the house for every season, tending to her gardens, cooking incredible meals, or simply being a shoulder to lean on, she created a home filled with love, laughter, and care. Her thoughtfulness, precision, and unwavering support helped shape Justin into the person he is today.
Some of Justin’s favorite memories include family trips to Florida, Christmas mornings filled with excitement, and the countless, priceless everyday moments spent together as a family. Looking back, he appreciates more than ever the sacrifices his parents made to provide opportunities, stability, and so many wonderful memories and life experiences for their children.
We are incredibly grateful for the love, guidance, and example they have given us. We would not be where we are today without them, and we love them very much!
Lauren’s parents helped shape so many of the values and memories that she carries with her today. Some of her favorite childhood memories include “Friday Farrell Family Fun Game Night,” spending summers outside, and ski trips.
From the very beginning, Justin fit naturally into the family, and over the years Lauren’s parents have supported not only their relationship, but the life they’ve built together.
We’re so grateful for all of the love, lessons and memories that helped bring us to this chapter of life together.
Loki has been part of Lauren and Justin’s story long before the wedding planning ever started. She’s been there through apartment life, buying first home, couch cuddles, and all of the everyday moments that built our life together.
As a sensitive girl, Loki prefers quiet spaces, familiar people and the comfort of home over crowds and big events. Loki will still be at home doing what she loves most, keeping watch over the house and waiting for her people to come home.
